Description

Thank you for your interest in our Oceania-Wesley OSCE preparation program. This comprehensive training program has been designed to maximise your preparation for the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) OSCE examination. Our course structure ensures that you receive the most effective learning experience and includes 80 hours of a combination of online and in-person (face-to-face) training at our Centre of Excellence simulation suite. Starting in February 2025, this course will be offered in Christchurch, New Zealand, with the option to arrange accommodation on the same premises.

The one-off payment of NZ$3,450 (GST included) includes both the online and in person training components of the program only. Accommodation is offered separately.

Once you have completed your OSCE prep course registration you will receive access to the online component. After completing the online training, you will be able to book your face-to-face course at a time that suits you and aligns with your OSCE examination schedule with NZNC.

Course Structure

1. Online Training (5 Days)

• Duration: 40 hours of theoretical content.
• Format: Complete at your convenience before arriving in Christchurch, New Zealand.
• Purpose: Provide essential knowledge required for working in the New Zealand health system
• Access: Available for one month from activation date.
• Access Link: Provided upon completion of registration, submission of required documentation, and course fee payment.

1. In-Person OSCE Simulation Training (5 Days) at our Centre of Excellence

• Location: Christchurch, New Zealand
• Duration: 32 hours of simulation, 4 hours OSCE prep examination, 4 hours feedback and reflection.
• Booking: Schedule your face-to-face training to coincide with your pre-booked NCNZ OSCE date in Christchurch.

Registration Requirements

• Completion of the NCNZ theoretical exam is required before enrolling in the OSCE prep course
• New Zealand Nursing Council verification letter
• Updated curriculum vitae
• Proof of your scheduled NCNZ OSCE exam date
